Scion Eyed Aria
Scion Eyed Aria began as a solo music project in the late 2000s, born from my early attempts at crafting love songs and experimenting with intricate wordplay and unconventional chord structures. This exploratory spirit remains at the heart of my work, drawing inspiration from two seemingly opposing influences: the haunting melancholy of Red House Painters and the adventurous, early-70s era of Genesis. While these inspirations rarely converge in a single song, their essence informs my creative process - balancing emotive depth with musical complexity.
Looking back, I believe my recent compositions represent my best work yet. The first of my 11 albums were stepping stones, each one a new experiment in discovering my artistic voice. This ongoing journey, to challenge myself and continually surpass my previous efforts, is what fuels my passion for writing and performing music.
